Brief Description: We are seeking an
experienced
Quality Head to lead our Quality Assurance Department. This role
requires a
deep understanding of quality management in the Automotive/Indian
Railways
industry and familiarity with the quality standards and audit
requirements
of major customers like Maruti Suzuki, Hero, and Honda in Automotive or
Canadian/European Railways Industries such as Deautch Bahn, Bombardier
and
Steadler. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in quality
management, with extensive experience in maintaining high standards for
major OEMs and Tier 1 suppliers.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain comprehensive Quality Management Systems (QMS)
in
line with industry standards such as ISO 9001 and ISO TS 22163.
- Oversee inspection and testing processes to ensure products meet
stringent quality standards.
- Prepare for and lead customer quality audits, ensuring compliance
with
the requirements of major clients.
- Implement corrective and preventive actions to address and resolve
quality issues promptly.
- Lead continuous improvement initiatives to enhance product quality
and
operational efficiency using methodologies such as Six Sigma and
Lean.
- Manage and mentor the Quality Assurance team, fostering a culture
of
quality awareness and accountability.
- Collaborate with suppliers to maintain high-quality standards for
incoming materials, conducting supplier audits and improvement
plans.
- Interface with customers to understand and meet their quality
requirements, handling complaints efficiently and ensuring timely
resolution.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant regulatory requirements and
industry standards, preparing and presenting quality reports to
senior
management.
- Develop and manage the Quality Assurance budget, ensuring
cost-effective operations. Requirements

- Should have 15+ experience in Quality out of which last 3+ years as
Head of Quality department handling a team size of 4-6 members.
- Proven experience in quality management within the sheet metal
stamping
industry, particularly with OEMs and Tier 1 suppliers.
- Strong knowledge of quality management systems, tools, and
methodologies.
- Familiarity with quality standards and audit requirements of major
customers.
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and lead a team effectively.
- Experience with quality management software and tools.
